The “Kip’s Chips” Story

Chris, nicknamed “Kip,” grew up enjoying his family’s secret recipe oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. These cookies always made him smile, so whenever a friend or family member was going through a tough time, he would bake these cookies for them. These unique rich and crisp cookies soon became known as “Kip’s Chips.”

Many have shared that receiving Kip’s Chips feels like a hug. For years, our family has baked Kip’s Chips to express a genuine and heartfelt condolence, to provide brief respite from a tough situation, to share a sense of community, and to give someone a reason to smile.

Today we bake Kip’s Chip’s in honor of Chris and share them to continue to bring smiles to those who need it. Luna Peak is proud to carry on the legacy of Kip’s Chips, now with an additional mission of serving the cancer and grief communities. 100% of Kip’s Chips profits benefit Luna Peak Foundation and help us donate books and care packages to families affected by cancer and grief.
